The Rev. Adam Tisdale is the Pastor of North Hills Church and began serving the church in June of 2009.  Prior to coming to North Hills, Adam served five years as Associate Pastor of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Norfolk, VA.  Adam holds degrees from the University of Georgia and Covenant Theological Seminary.   He has also served churches in a variety of capacities in Illinois and Georgia.  Adam has been married to his high school sweetheart, Lydia, since 1998.  Adam and Lydia have two college-aged children.  Their home is made complete (or more chaotic) with two cats and three dogs.  In 2013, Adam was diagnosed with cancer and had a recurrence in 2017.  It was not something he wanted to add to his resume or biography, but Adam is thankful for the Lord's certain grace in the midst of very trying circumstances. Adam is also the author of a small book:  Outdo One Another: Fostering Honor Among Pastoral Colleagues.

The Hale Family

The Rev. Jacob Hale is the Associate Pastor of North Hills Church and began serving the church in February of 2021, starting as an Assistant Pastor. Jacob was born here in Huntsville, AL and graduated from Buckhorn High School in 2010. Jacob holds degrees from the University of North Alabama and Birmingham Theological Seminary. Over the years Jacob had been blessed to serve in various capacities in churches in North Alabama and St. Louis but is excited and grateful to have North Hills be his first ordained position.  Jacob's first wife, Rachel, passed away in early 2023 after a several year battle with breast cancer.  Jacob's book The Weight of It All wrestles with this and other challenges that we face in this world.  The Lord has since graciously brought new joy and life to Jacob through his wife Cait and children Lily and Luke.
